About Nature Walk
Nature Walk is a short guided trekking experience inside Periyar Tiger Reserve, Thekkady, designed to introduce visitors to the rich biodiversity and different forest habitats of the reserve.
The approximately 4–5 km trek takes around 2.5 hours and is conducted along different nature trails inside the park. Each trail can accommodate a maximum of 6 visitors, accompanied by a trained tribal guide.
The walk provides excellent opportunities for observing birds, butterflies and other wildlife while experiencing the sights, colours and sounds of the forest at a relaxed pace.
