What a package price usually covers
Usually included
- Hotel or resort stay for the nights shown, in the room type mentioned
- Meals as listed in the package — often breakfast, sometimes breakfast and dinner
- Transfers and sightseeing by private vehicle as per the day-wise plan
- Driver allowance, parking and tolls for the planned route
Not included
- Train or flight tickets to the starting city
- Safari permits, entry tickets and camera fees, unless the package lists them
- Lunch, snacks and personal expenses not mentioned in the package
- Extra driving or sightseeing outside the planned route
Ways to make your budget go further
Travel dates make the biggest difference. Weekdays and the weeks just outside school holidays, Diwali and the Christmas–New Year period usually have better hotel availability and rates. Booking early helps most for Sasan Gir and Goa in winter, when good rooms fill weeks ahead.
Group size matters too. The vehicle cost is shared, so four to six people travelling together pay less each than a couple in the same car. Choosing a standard hotel for transit nights and a better stay where you spend the most time keeps the trip comfortable without raising the total much.
If the calculator shows nothing for your numbers, it does not mean a trip is not possible. Fewer nights, a nearby destination or a simpler hotel often bring a trip within budget, and our team can suggest the closest fit when you send an enquiry.
Frequently asked questions
Does the budget include flights or trains?
No. Package prices cover what each package lists — usually stays, meals as mentioned, transfers and sightseeing. Travel to the starting city is not included unless the package says so.
Why do I see no packages for my budget?
Your budget may be below the starting price for those nights and people. Try fewer nights or a different hotel category, or send an enquiry and we suggest options.
Can you customise a package to fit my budget?
Yes. Send your dates and budget through the enquiry form and we adjust hotels, nights or sightseeing where possible.
Are safari permits part of the package price?
Only when the package lists them. Safari and park permits are issued by the forest department at its own fees, so we show them separately in the quote.
Do prices change on festivals and long weekends?
Often, yes. Hotels raise rates on peak dates, and some set a minimum stay. Your quote reflects the actual rates for your dates.
